The point of a Rival Crock Pot is to make quality meals easier, right? You put in the ingredients, set on low and come home to a great tasting dinner in the evening. With the new 7-quart model, Rival has created something close to the “perfect crock pot”.
Instead of just sharing with you the statistics and technical description of the new 7-quart model, I thought it would be more helpful for you to hear from some actual owners.
Reading a note from Tina in Arlington, Texas say this is “the best slow cooker I have ever used”. She goes on to say the temperature is steady and consistent through the day – a problem she has encountered with other units – and the pot itself is very easy to clean.
Herman in Pennsylvania says he has owned many a crock pot, but really likes the size of this new model. He also adds he has actually tried several of the recipes that come from the included manual and found them to be very tasty.
Finally, Carly in Rockledge, Florida says she loves how she can put an entire chicken in the new 7-quart model. In fact she recently cooked a whole roast, four potatoes and pound of carrots at the same time.
To be fair there have been some complaints about a recurring problem with the On/Off switch not responding as quickly as some would like, and at least one complaint was found about the external temperature of the unit. Overall, the recommendations of the new Rival Crock Pot 7-quart model were positive.
